YBP Policies

We at Yunny Bee Pilates always make the most of our class time. To ensure our clients get the most out of their pilates experience and be in a safe, supportive environment. Please read the following:

 

Cancellation

We understand life is happening, and we’re navigating it as best as we can. Thank you for respecting our strict 12 hour cancellation policy for all bookings. Cancellation or change requests received via email are not valid. All cancellations and changes must be managed online at least 12 hours prior to your booking to avoid forfeiting your credit.

  • Early cancellations: Cancellations or changes made before 12 hours of the booking time are considered early cancellations and are eligible to reimbursed in the form of studio credit.

  • Late cancellations: Any booking cancellations made within 12 hours of the start of class are not eligible for studio credit reimbursement or a refund.

  • No shows: If you cancel you lose your credit and will not be eligible for a refund

Arrival Time

Please arrive 5 minutes early for a smooth check-in experience. We do allow a 5 min grace period but for safety reasons, and to provided quality pilates experience for others after the 5 minutes you will not be permitted to enter the studio.

For Privates and Duets: lf no-shows and late arrivals of over 20 minutes will be considered late cancellations and are not eligible for a credit or refund. All time lost due to late arrivals will be forfeited.

YBP has a zero tolerance policy against hate speech, discrimination or harassment based on race, color, religion, creed, sex, national origin, age, disability, marital status, veteran status or any other status protected by applicable law. Each individual has the right to a safe environment that promotes equal opportunities and is free from discriminatory practices.

 

FAQs

  • For safety we do not provide the code on our website. Please check your confirmation or reminder email to retrieve the code. Don't forget to press pound (#) !

  • Yes, for hygiene and your safety, grippy socks are recommended. If you don’t you have any, regular socks are fine but be cautioned that you have a higher risk for slipping on floors and the reformer equipment

  • No worries, mistake happen. Just send us an email at info@yunnybeepilates.com and we’d be happy to help.

  • We have two changing rooms, bathrooms, waiting area, and a water fountain. Be aware that outside shoes are not permitted in the studio. Upon arrival, please remove your shoes and store in the provided cubbies.

  • Brooklyn: We have bathrooms, a waiting area, and a water fountain.

    Harlem: One bathrooms, and a water fountain are available.

    For both spaces, be aware that outside shoes are not permitted in the studio. Upon arrival, please remove your shoes and store in the provided lockers.

  • We do! However, there are no disposable cups available so we recommend bringing your own reusable water bottle. We take pride in being an eco friendly space!

  • Unfortunately, we do not have showers at this time.

  • YBP is not responsible for the loss of any personal items. Any times left will be discarded due to the locations being shared spaces.

  • Cell phone use is not permitted during class. We enforce this to maintain a focused environment for yourself and others. We appreciate your understanding.

  • Phones are permitted in rare circumstances, however the instructor reserves the right to limit use during class to maintain a focused environment for yourself and others. Please discuss with the instructor ahead of class if you feel your phone is necessary.
